Concerts on The Green run June 6 to August 1, 2026, on select Saturdays and begin at 6 p.m., with the stage at 29th Avenue and Roslyn Street in the heart of the community. Founders Green is the loud one. Bring chairs early; seating is first-come, first-served.
The North Green is the quieter counter-programming. On July 9, MoJaBlu brought a free outdoor concert from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. featuring Hazel Miller and the Collective, and the MCA follows that with jazz nights where, per its calendar, the Denver Municipal Jazz Band takes the North Green stage at 6:30 p.m. with food trucks on hand. The Cube Cinema Series is the sleeper. Recent programming has included Summer of Soul, the Oscar-winning documentary about the 1969 Harlem Cultural Festival, hosted by Dr. Vincent Piturro, film studies professor at MSU Denver and writer of The Indie Prof column in The Front Porch newspaper, plus The Outrun, the 2024 drama starring Saoirse Ronan set in the Orkney Islands. Doors open at 6:30 p.m., the movie starts at 7:00 p.m., and tickets are $10 plus fees. That is a curated repertory series in your neighborhood for the price of a beer.
Conservatory Green plays a different role. Once a year it turns into the Denver Arts Festival: now in its 27th year at Central Park's Conservatory Green, a fine arts and fine crafts festival featuring 145+ artists. The rest of the summer it is a walking lawn.

The Stanley chapter is about to turn

Stanley is a community hub housed in a repurposed aviation manufacturing facility spanning more than 100,000 square feet, home to more than 50 locally owned small businesses including independent restaurants, a craft brewer, specialty retailers, fitness and wellness studios, and creative services. Denver-based Magnetic Capital is expected to pay roughly $41 million for the Stanley, according to a financing memorandum obtained by Axios that outlines a sweeping redevelopment vision, with ambitions of a broader mixed-use district centered on housing, hospitality and entertainment. The memo, as reported by Axios, lists the specifics: roughly 300 apartment units across two buildings on the south parking lot with 10,000 square feet of ground-floor retail, a nearby 150-room hotel, a new entrance bar, and expanded outdoor programming tied to the Westerly Creek restoration. The memo also contemplates doubling the Stanley's existing 1% customer fee.
Two things follow from that if you live nearby. First, the outdoor programming you are enjoying this summer, the yoga, the peaches, the craft nights, is the pre-transition version. If Magnetic closes and executes, the vibe you know is a baseline you are watching get built on top of. Second, the Westerly Creek angle matters for anyone who walks or bikes the corridor. A creek-tied outdoor program means the greenway becomes part of the marketplace, not a separate errand.
Take one weekend this summer to walk the south parking lot before it disappears. That is not a nostalgic exercise. It is a way to hold onto a before-and-after in your head as the block changes.
Where to end the night
Central Park's dining pattern is less about a single strip and more about two anchors plus Stanley across the border in Aurora. The walkable plaza at Northfield Blvd and Valentia Street features a mix of restaurants, cafes, and breweries, from fine dining to quick bites, and regularly hosts live music and community events, while the Town Center at East 29th Avenue and Roslyn Street is anchored by King Soopers with boutique shops, salons, exercise studios, and popular eateries.
